Having earned a reputation over 45 years for high performance and reliability, the Flowserve naval products such as Worcester ball valves and Norbro actuators are installed on all UK submarines and surface ships as well as Australia's Collins Class Submarines and Hobart Class AWDs and other navies throughout the world.
 
Flowserve can offer manual and actuated valve packages in a range of materials including Nickel Aluminium Bronze (NAB), Duplex, Super Duplex, Monel and Titanium for a variety of pressures, temperatures and applications.
 
Flowserve can provide design and manufacturing capabilities, quality assurance, project management and through-life support.
 
Flowserve teamed up with VEEM 25 years ago to be the Flowserve Defence agent in Australia and it has became a highly successful working relationship that has supported the Collins Class Submarines and Hobart Class AWDs with manufacturing and refurbishment of their critical system valves.
 
VEEM Limited operates one of the largest ferrous and non-ferrous foundry facilities in Australia with 12 furnaces and 16 tonnes capacity. With forty years of manufacturing experience behind it, the foundry division is unique in Australia, offering a complete range of products and services associated with the marine industry.
 
VEEM manufactures valve components to strict Defence Standards for Collins Class submarines along with a variety of other components for surface vessels for both the Australia and United States of America Defence forces.
