DEFENCE INDUSTRY MINISTER TO ADDRESS SIA CONFERENCE TODAY
The Minister for Defence Industry will provide the keynote speech on the third and final day of the Submarine Institute of Australia’s (SIA) eighth biennial conference in Canberra today.
Hon Christopher Pyne MP will speak on topic, the “Australian Submarine Industry” and provide the latest insights from the Federal Government on the design and construction of 12 new submarines in Adelaide.
“Minister Pyne’s address will, no doubt, further stimulate discussion and analysis of the early stages of implementation of the Future Submarine Program and build on the success of the first days of the conference,” said SIA Executive Director, David Nicholls.
