14th Annual General Meeting - Shine Dome, Canberra - 15 November 2012
The 14th AGM will be held from 1700-1745 on Thursday 15 November 2012 in the 'Shine Dome', Australian Academy of Science, Gordon Street, Acton, ACT. A copy of the Agenda for this meeting can be accessed here (to be issued after 26 October) and entry is restricted to members of the SIA whose memberships are current to at least 30 June 2013.
In addition to any other business that can be transacted at an AGM, the purpose of the meeting is to:

confirm the minutes of the last preceding annual general meeting and of any general meeting held since that meeting;
-
receive from the committee reports on the activities of the institute during the last preceding financial year;
-
elect members of the committee, including office-bearers; and
-
receive and consider the statement of accounts and the reports that are required to be submitted to members pursuant to subsection 73(1) of the Act.
Members who wish to have their views expressed but who are unable to attend in person may appoint a proxy using the form available on this page. Similarly, apologies should be recorded on the form linked below. |
