This was the fifth in the series of Biennial Conference and was held in Fremantle, WA on 9-10 November 2010.

The Conference was opened by the Minister for Defence, the Hon Stephen Smith and attracted an distinguished array of speakers from the public and private sectors around the world.

With a theme of 'Submarines in Australia's Maritime Strategy', the conference set a new benchmark in the conduct of submarine-focussed conferences.
