SIA secures funding for Project AE2

The SIA has been successful in its bid for funding from the Commonwealth Department of the Environment and Heritage which has awarded it a contract for $25,000 to develop a Feasibility Study into the preservation aspects of HMAS AE2. The grant will cover development of promotional material, travel to Turkey (first visit is this Anzac Day) on two occasions, travel within Australia to attend Inter-Departmental Working Group meetings and production of promotional material.
